PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT

We welcome and appreciate the many types of contributions, large and small, that families make to Holy Family Primary School.

Opportunities for parents and carers to get involved include:

  • the Parent Representative Group (PRG)
  • parent forums
  • the Fundraising Committee
  • Snapshots of Learning - ‘learning walks’ through classrooms led by school leaders, followed by Q&A
  • Student of the Week classroom parent/carer visits
  • Meet the Teacher Briefings
  • Parent/Teacher meetings
  • Student-led conferences
  • Parent helpers in classrooms
  • community events (e.g. Harmony Day, Book Week parade, Grandparents’ Day picnic)
  • liturgies (feast days with the whole school, weekly parish Mass with classes)
  • assemblies and presentations

The term-based Parent Calendar, the school newsletter and the Holy Family Skoolbag app are the best ways to stay informed about events and opportunities.
